Each CMC Systems Workshop delivers four views of the solution. In collaboration with our clients, these
views address the following questions:

Workflow
Prototype:
Captures the systems functional flow and user interface. Using the actual workflow solution, prototype
the flow of information and actions across the systems. What actions steps and decisions are to be
made, and by whom? Who needs access to
what information, when? What are the
major stage gates and milestones?
Infrastructure
Map:
Diagram the current configuration of systems, servers, databases, and
processes. Which systems or databases,
will be feeding the new solution? Which
ones will be fed, by the new solution?
Which systems are slated for retirement or consolidation, and what are
the solution impacts?
Information
Flow: For existing systems, capture the end-to-end
flow and user interaction. Where do
internal and external data feeds come from?
How are users interacting with the system, in the current and to-be
state?
Dashboards
and Reports: Up
front, prototype the user-facing components of the new system. Incorporate feedback on function and
